Taipei, Taiwan – On December 6th, a distinguished delegation from Vietnam, comprising hospital representatives, doctors, media, and medical distributors, visited Taipei Veterans General Hospital (TVGH). The visit was part of their participation in the 2024 Taiwan Health Expo, a significant event showcasing Taiwan's cutting-edge medical advancements.
The delegation was received by Professor Liu Chin Su, Director of International Medical Service Center. They embarked on a comprehensive tour of the hospital, visiting several key departments, including the Rehabilitation Center, ICU Center, Chest Medicine Department, Chang Ching Ward, and the groundbreaking Heavy Ion Therapy Center. During the tour, they were deeply impressed by the hospital's state-of-the-art facilities, advanced medical technologies, and highly skilled healthcare professionals.
The delegation was particularly intrigued by Taiwan's innovative medical treatments and techniques, such as the advanced cancer therapy offered at the Heavy Ion Therapy Center. They expressed admiration for Taiwan's commitment to patient care and its significant strides in medical research and development.
"We are truly amazed by the level of medical expertise and technological advancements at TVGH," said Vu Duc Thien, Director of Shinzo Truong Thanh Phat, a healthcare distributor from Vietnam.
