The International Medical Service Center (IMSC) of Taipei Veterans General Hospital was established in May 2008, since then has become the healthcare referral center of American Institute in Taiwan (AIT), International SOS and foreign embassies/missions in Taiwan.

We have been constantly upgrading our international medical services at TVGH both horizontally and vertically through IMSC. Our services cover medical assistance to international patients from across the world, international collaboration with partner hospitals as well as execution to Taiwan’s medical policy towards South and Southeast Asia, especially Vietnam as designated by the Government’s One Country – One Center initiative. We have been receiving a large number of patients from Southeast Asia (Vietnam, Indonesia, Myanmar, Cambodia), the USA and Canada, Hong Kong and Mainland China, to Europe and the Middle East.

What motivates us to relentlessly upkeep the mission is the patient recovery and vitality, as well as their happiness and gratitude to Taiwan’s excellent medical service at affordable costs. Humanity is the firm ground for our services to foster and grow.
