In preparation for the orthopedic conference in Vietnam, the director and deputy director of the Vietnam Representative Office, as well as local medical institutions and Taiwanese businessmen in Vietnam were invited to participate. Most of the speakers of the conference will be experts in the orthopedic field from Taipei, Taichung, and Kaohsiung VGH. Actual cases were explored in the conference. Various opinions of experts from different fields contributed to medical innovation. The exhibit was organized by Taiwanese manufacturers such as United Orthopedic, A-Spine, A Plus Biotechnology, and HeSuo Biotechnology bringing medical equipment and products made in Taiwan. With trained personnel to explain the products and samples on display, such an exhibit will allow local medical institutions, manufacturers, and the general public in Vietnam to understand Taiwan’s medical industry.
Throughout the years, the quality of the Taiwan healthcare system has greatly improved and has achieved various forms of achievement. The recently concluded orthopedic conference held in the Ho Chi Minh Medical University Center hospital exhibited the strength of the orthopedic field in Taiwan, as well as the quality of orthopedic-related equipment and products. It is with great hope that the medical cooperation between Taiwan and Vietnam would continue to grow and even expand in other New Southbound countries.
