The Director of Nephrology in Taipei VGH Chih-Ching Lin(林志慶主任) explained that poor diabetes control is a high-risk group of chronic kidney disease, and about 1,000 diabetic patients tracked in medical institutions at all levels in Saint Kitts and Nevis, and more than 30% of the initial estimation was poor blood sugar control (fasting blood glucose value> 250 mg/dl), the risk of chronic kidney disease in Saint Kitts and Nevis is most likely underestimated; In addition, Saint Kitts and Nevis didn't have National Health Insurance in their own country, and the amount of hemodialysis at a time exceeds 300 US dollars, which is a great burden on the country's finances and people. Far-Infrared Therapy Equipments have many benefits such as increasing blood flow to fistulas, shortening the maturation time of newly opened fistulas, and prolonging the service life of fistulas, and more than ninety percent of dialysis centers and institutions in Taiwan have taken far-infrared therapy as routine care for fistulas. And non-invasive treatment, non-contact with the human body, exepmt from instrument contact of infection concerns, it is safety, convenient and effective medical instrument.
