Taipei Veterans General Hospital Superintendent Dr. Wei-Ming Chen Named by Newsweek as One of the World’s Top Hospital CEOs 2024/25 [Newsweek]

Dr. Wei-Ming Chen is the current president and CEO of Taipei Veteran General Hospital, which is the largest public hospital and the leading academic medical center in Taiwan. The hospital delivers high-quality medical services to patients from around the world, serving nearly 2.5 million outpatients and 120,000 inpatients annually, with one-third of patients being cancer cases.

It is one of the few medical centers globally—and the only hospital in Taiwan—to offer both heavy iron cancer therapy and Boron neutron capture therapy.
